About

.

Incredible advances are being made in image processing techniques and tools, but the scientists who use them typically don’t have the opportunity to communicate with other scientists who work on similar problems in different domains.

The goal of ImageXD is bring together a cross-disciplinary community of researchers interested in all aspects of development and application of image-processing related research, who wouldn’t normally cross paths, to see what intersections there are between their problems, and the way they apply, utilize, and develop image processing methods and algorithms.

Group

We hope to provide a platform for such scientists to communicate with each other by introducing the problems they are working to solve in their research, the types of tools, algorithms, and approaches they have already developed or would like to develop in the future, and the potential collaborations or partnerships they seek to develop. The workshop is three days: tutorials on the first, and talks & collaborative projects during the other two.
